dont buy or sell with CHAS EVERITT, dont contact them, steer as far away as possible!!!!!

It took almost a year buying a house through Chas evernothing. They don’t do any due diligence on the property, they don’t care for the buyer or seller and just care about making money. Don’t trust their agents, don’t trust their principals as they will just throw you empty promises and spin huge unbelievable stories. Don't even trust their head office as they will give you the idea that they care and that they will sort out your problem, but not even their executives and directors can give you any assists or peace of mind, they are useless. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT USE CHAS EVERITT whenever you try to buy or sell a house, in fact chase them out of your area, your city, your country, they don’t deserve to sell property on South Africa

Don’t bother contacting me, I’ll ensure there is a complaint on helopeter from me every year for the world to see.

Good day Mr Fourie,
We regret that you had to suffer this unfortunate set of events, namely:
1. House Plans: We were told by the seller that the plans were submitted to the council, only to find that they were drawn up but not submitted. We arranged for the submission thereof which was done.
2. Energiser: The seller was not aware of the electric fence (they live overseas) since the previous tenant installed same with no energiser. Chas Everitt and the seller installed an energiser at their cost. NB! Chas Everitt was not managing this lease with the tenant.
3. Break in: As you are aware, the property was broken into before registration and vandalised. Chas Everitt reported the matter to the police and took the matter up with the seller to claim damages from their insurance - the insurance would not deal with Chas Everitt, only with the seller. You and the seller then entered into direct negotiations to be paid certain monies to effect the repairs. We were not party to the conclusion of these negotiations.
4. Chas Everitt was now no longer involved in the matter.
We once again reiterate our regret that you had this tenuous experience which was out of our control, but assure you that we did try our best to assist wherever we could.
Kind regards,
