Chass Everitt Sandton UNPROFESSIONAL

Class Everitt zero competence of agents. Their agents give unprofessionalism a new meaning, They were marketing my property, and had a buyer who put down almost a third of the selling price as a deposit, and the outstanding amount the buyer was going to apply for a bond. We were told that this is sure thing and he will get the bond. However the agents failed to check if this buyer would qualify for a bond. No one checked his bank statements. All parties signed the OTP only to find out the buyer who was left to his own devices with no care from the agents had not app**** for the bond and is now cancelling the Sale agreement just like that. While the buyer is in breach of agreement it would not be worth it to fight the case. This agency needs to be shut down because they are fooling people both buyers and sellers, they give both parties false hope and are just happy to walkaway and claim they did their part ,which is not true. When they are questioned even the principal of this branch is just happy to let things be. Due to this I have stopped them from marketing my property with immediate effect.

Reviewer Update
On Friday I wrote a review about Chass Everitt Sandton and I mentioned the word "Principal" however I should have said General Manager. But in all this I am happy to that the Principal has called me trying to solve my matter. He shares my view points in this matter, and while I am not sure how will it be resolved I am glad that someone called me.

Dear Tash,
We take comments like this extremely seriously and the matter will immediately be investigated by senior management at Chas Everitt International. We will then be in contact directly to share our findings. However, it is important to note that no agent can ever guarantee that a buyer will be granted a bond by one or more financial institutions, or that a buyer will accept the terms of the loan if he/she is granted a bond. Thus we are not able to prevent a buyer from breaching a sale contract, although we would, of course, explain the potential legal and financial consequences to that buyer. We would also never check a buyer's bank statements as that would be a serious breach of privacy. We do, however, prequalify buyers by means of a credit record check - with the permission of the buyer.
