Nobody pitched
After logging a call with my insurer for road-side assistance on the 1st of February, I was informed that Daniel de Ridder from Charodex Towing was dispatched to my location. This was at about 13:50. After some time we followed up, as it was getting late, and it was dangerous to be sitting in my car next to a rural road, all on my own, only to be advised Daniel did in fact not accept the call, and wasn't on his way (for whatever reason). We were only advised of this at 14:53, after my husband called to find out what was going on. The insurer then tried to schedule another service provider, but advised the waiting time could be up to 3 hours. Eventually my husband had to drive out (almost 60km) to come and assist me. We will not only be changing insurance companies, but also insist that they not make use of this towing company for road-side assistance.
