Bad quality engagement ring from Charm Jewelry

I am writing this review with a FUMING heart. We bought an engagement ring from Charm Jewelry in Brandon. Please take note that we were not informed on that day to buy an extra life long "gaurantee" so that any reparations that might be needed to do on the ring will be for free. During the first few months one of the diamonds fall out. We took it back and they replaced it with another diamond but it wasn't set back evenly with the others. In the next year two more diamonds fall out. We took it back again and it we were advised to buy a life long warrantee for $300. I refused to do so because I felt that if you pay that much for a ring that were made by a designer it is suppose to last a life time. So the manager "did us a favour" and replaced the diamonds again. In less than a month another TWO more diamonds fall out. (All together we are on 5 now!) So we moved to Alberta and went to Edmonton to ask about this expensive ring that I keep in my safe because I can't wear it. The shop assistant said we can buy a guarantee for $360 OR we can buy a ring DOUBLE the amount that we paid for, and then they will buy my old ring back. NO! The thing is ... I am NOT interested in another ring from Charm Jewelry. In the first place: If any customer needs to buy a guarantee for repairment it means you are selling a bad quality "designer ring". In the second place if a real designer do repairment on a ring, it must be done perfectly. You can't put it back unevenly. In the third place: If the quality was good, I wouln't have to replace 5 diamonds within less than 3 years. According to my research these engagement ring were made from a wax mould and they make thousands of one kind of ring. When a ring is polished it goes into a tumbler with beads which cause the small clamps that holds the diamond in place, to dissapear. So thats why the diamonds keep on falling out. In the fourth place: Why on earth would I buy ANOTHER ring from Charm Jewelry if the first one already proved the bad quality?? So this leaves me with a ring packed away in its beautiful box ... not only because it looks likr a party pack cheap ring without all the diamonds but because I'm too afraid to wear it! So my advice - If you want to have a quality engagement ring, don't look for one at Charmed Jewelry.
