utterly shocked

In the late hours of the evening on Saturday my 18month year old baby started to shake and her temperature was going up as i was panicking trying to bring her temparature down i decided to call the ambulance netcare and they promptly came through, as they were assessing my baby they said she her temperature was too high and advised we take her to the hospital, as we were making our way out of my complex my medical aid which is BANKMED BASIC OPTION advised the paramedics no private hospital could admit my baby in for casualty as its not covered in my medical aid i pay every month so we headed to Johannesburg general hospital, when we arrived in the emergency paediatric casualty ward the female Doctor who was working there said why did we bring the baby there as we should have gone to Hillbrow Clinic, and the paramedics were stunned but they told me to sit there they will attend to us shortly, i arrived with my sick baby there at 07:05 pm and i was attended by the staff at 08:15 to complete a file for my baby, once completing that they left us to sit there for 4 HOURS with a sick child , noting it was not even full there, that hospital is very much neglectfull and i eventually left.
