Terrible service from Government Hospital

I am so horrified at the treatment people get at this hospital - it honestly just constitutes neglect. My uncle has been going to this hospital for the past 9 months - he was referred there by South Rand Hospital. he has undergone the same tests for the last 9 months and nothing has been resolved - he has been booked for surgery at least 7 times been admitted and starved for surgery and then it has been cancelled and postponed. Last week he was scheduled for surgery on the 1st October and was not done so day 1 of starving, day 2 - scheduled and again postponed - starved again - day 3 same thing - day 4 same thing. and on saturday he was not given food either, then sent home at 14h50 in the afternoon - he was and is so terribly ill now as he has been dehydrated, meds not given as prescribed. he has been refused at the hospital - the rivitril he has been prescribed, given a script but was not given a motivation, now nobody will give us the motivation. this man has now been without tablets for 2 months (I have bought it out of my own pocket) this man has a right hemi, epileptic,, has masses in and on his kidneys, has ulcers in his stomach, has a gall bladder that needs urgent surgery - and none of this is taken into account - he is just neglected in the hospital and sent home even sicker then when we started and nothing is being done to assist him. we have tried to take him to BARA and they don't even look at him, they just tell us to take him back to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital. It is disgusting that anybody should be treated like this never mind a pensioner of 70 and a disbaled sick sick man
