Rude, unprofessional doctor

I took my father to the oncology unit today at 06:30. He was the first person in the door. We eventually left at 12:00 when a water pipe burst and the place started flooding. A rude woman (maybe she was a doctor, who knows?) shoved a paper at me, mumbled something about a bladder infection at me, rudely informed me that she can't do anything in the corridor and essentially told me and my father to go away. Zero explanation and zero compassion. I understand she might have been flustered at the pipe situation but that is no excuse for a lack of professionalism and humanity. I know that complaining here will accomplish nothing because this is South Africa, where nobody cares and nothing ever changes, but I had to say something. If you cannot spare a little human decency for a dying man and his worried son, you have no business being a doctor.
