Excellent service by Mr Thulane Mbulane (Assistant Manager) and an unknown professional nurse

I was accompanying a friend(Duduzile Ngubane) to Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Hospital today 06th November 2019, she was going to be admitted to do a medical procedure to replace a punket as she is on kidney dialysis. It happened she left behind her ECG report and the anesthesiologist (Dr S Smith) requested as she needed to be sure what it entails. Since she was in her condition, I volunteered to go back to the Wits School of Education (WSoE) in Parktown, where she left her ECG report behind, as it was few metres from the hospital. I used the staircases to exit my way out of the hospital, I found the ECG report and brought it along. On my way back, I used the staircases and then decided to use the lift to the 9th floor presumably I will get there quickly, not knowing the hospital's wards are divided into 5 blocks and arranged in different colours. I lost my way inside these wards and it was so complicated, I had to ask for assistance and direction to the ward where Duduzile Ngubane was admitted and I happen not to know the ward's number but I just knew the patient, the anesthesiologist name only and the 9th floor, that wasn't sufficient enough to for me to be assisted. Then walked in a gentleman by the name of Mr Thulane Mbulane (Assistant Manager) according to his name tag, chatted with the nurses who weren't of assistance to me, after a while he realised I was standing there idly watching them carrying on with their conversations and enquired why am I there. Then the *********** nurses who didn't care less about my situation said to him I'm lost and they can't assist me as they don't understand what I'm talking about. Seeing that I was irate, he decided to go around the renal wards and make enquiries where Duduzile Ngubane was admitted to. At last, in another ward a professional nurse (forgot her name) happened to know Duduzile Ngubane and directed us to the respective ward which was ward 395, I was impressed by her courteous professionalism compared to those *********** invalids of so called nurses who weren't of assistance to me. Let me applaud the professional nurse (unfortunately I have forgotten her name) and Mr Thulane Mbulane who showed the spirit and principle of Batho Pele, in going the extra mile in assisting me to locate Duduzile Ngubane, this is what public servants should embody and emulate. These 2 know their hospital in and out so well, and are able to understand that such a place can be quite intimidating to first timers around the hospital, so we should always pay tribute and give recognition when it is in our power to do so and I applaud these 2 public servants for showing ubuntu and embodying the principle of Batho Pele.
