Promised of a shoes and not delivered in time

I went to buy a shoes at Charles and Keith in centurion on the 20th December 2015 and paid the delivery fee of R50, I followed up after few days and they told me my shoe is not yet in the shops, and today on the 27 December 2015 I went to the shop again and they told me my shoe is not yet delivered. This is almost 8 days with no delivery and they now telling me that I won't get my R50 back as it's non refundable...they didn't tell me this before and the fact that I didn't cancel the shoe because I was promised to receive my shoe before the 2nd of January 2016 as it's my birthday. I told them that either I get my shoe before the 2nd of January 2016 or I get my R50 back. They told me the shoe is been transported already and the problem is with the transport (RTT). I have mentioned to them that it has nothing to do with me as I was promised and told by the lady that I will receive my shoe before the 2nd of January 2016. One question I have asked thme that if I didn't come to the shop meaning no one was going to come back to me to atleast make me feel like a customer enough to tell me the situation. Today they are now calling everyone to followup but they didn't do that from the 20th.
