Myself and by Husband(now deceased) has a home loan with standbank as of 18/08/2014 and my husband passed away on 15/03/2015 which was the main purchaser of the account I then submitted the claim on 27/03/2015 at the Lenasia Branch - However according to them the claim was only logged on the 12/05/2015 I have been calling and no one can assist and keeps telling me it is still with the assessors it is to date nearly a year ago I need assistance or clarity on what is happening as the bond is not being paid and my Husband main purchaser is decease so there is no funds and no one is say if the assurance claim is approved - However the last follow up I did I was sent a a arrears statement? I need clarity please isn't the assurance suppose to cover the death of my spouse?
