Attention to detail is lacking

This establishment is a go too for me when travelling Cape Town to Johannesburg. Have stayed here a number of times over the years. This time, however, the Chargo Group own the Hotel. Though we had a very pleasant stay and some really good meals: the property seems to have only seen a major refurbishment of the Reception, Restaurant building, The rooms have probably seen minor updates. I would advise that management take a closer look at what 3-star accommodation entails. The closed in the room hasn't changes over the years and cannot really be called such - a door and a side attached to the wall, is not really a closet, except in a DIY way. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Though cost saving was definitely the name of the game, when it came to complementary coffee/tea/milk (exactly 3 of each, as per the number of persons that could sleep in the room). The "Patio" outside the room was filled with leaves and hadn't seen a clean since that last good wind. The price being asked per room, Chargo Group can do better than what is offered.
