Chapps Construction at it again

Get ready for a story :

Monday 19/06/17 we came home to Chapps construction doing roadworks on our road. While doing road works they damaged the electrical line to 6 Full complexs and neighbouring houses.

When calling Eskom to report they had no prior reports of no power from Chapps .

I then proceeded to call Chapps where they couldnt even answer the phone correctly , let alone pass me onto management before putting the phone down on me multiple times.

Our power came on early Tuesday 20/6/17 at 4am. YAY we have power?!?

Well that was short lived . We came home to no power again Tuesday night due to the CHAPPS construction hitting the eletrical line again.

So we gather the candles from the night before and brace for the long night ahead.

True to their word Eskom repaired the line at 2 am and we had power.

So today 21/06/17 i come home again to NO POWER! dye to this construction team

My question is don't you get plans and layouts of roads before work commenses and why Chapps has done nothing to assist with a situation caused by them multiple times.

When i call again to get hold of management i am once again out down on 3 times before finally getting through to someone that informed me the Manager would be in tomorrow .

THIS DOES NOT HELP ME AT ALL. Hence i am here on HelloPeter.

This is a load of nonsence. I feel a petition needs to be done and looses accured by residence of Pinetown affected should be reimbursed for food being spo**** due to our deep freezers not being able to work correctly for 3 days. This is on average R1000 per household at bare minimum. I will also be going to Municipality to log a formal complaint against Chapps aswell as Facebook group regarding this as i dont see why we must be inconvenienced becuase Chapps cannot do their Job correctly,
