Violation of the CPA

<p>I visited the chamberlain in watloo where I wanted to purchase building material. I started at the building counter to do a quotation , then proceeded to the floor to look for doors. As i was brousing, I saw a door which had a price tag of R1067.40 and the tag had the exact discription of the door. I then went to the cashier by the name of zanele to ask if they can get someone to help me on the floor. she refered me to the security gaurd. I then went back to the same cashier to ask about my deposit account. she didnt even give me an oppotunity to breath, instantly refered me to the building counter without even hearing my question. I then said to her "you dont even know what i want to ask yet you reffering me else where". thats when I noticed that her posture wasn't that of a person who is suppose to help customers, she was chew a gum and rolling her eyes as I spoke to her. Then I was finaly assisted at the door section. the guy named Dalton told me the must be a mistake because that door cant be that price, he then called the assistant manager (Michael) who told me that the door is R10000.00 and they wont give me at that price. I didn't want to ague so I bought other materials and left. monday morning I phoned their customer care to complain and was told they will escalate the matter. later that day the store manager phoned me, upon explaining the situation to him he said he will speak to the directors and get back to me. a day later he phoned and told me that it was a pricing mistake and they wont give me that door. "unfortunatly the is nothing we can do". those where is exact word.</p>
