HELL(O) HOLE RUDE SERVICE!! MONTANA BRANCH

Upon arrival, I was greeted by this very friendly very old guy. I felt welcome. Went onto the timber section on the left, and was greeted by this very tall guy, think his name is Christo. He was keen to help, and friendly, and referred me to the section where I need to order the timber I actually needed. This is where my experience turned into a nightmare.

As I arrived at the counter, I got to a guy called Hendrick ( not friendly at all ), I greeted politely, and as I started asking for what I needed, he rudely interupted, and pointed to the end of the counter, saying I need to go "there". At this point my temps went up, thought what the hell. So I went to the other side, stood in the que, where I was met by this Rude Hendrick again, you can imagine, I already had a bad experience with this guy, now I have to deal with him again, and why the hell could he not help me in the first place. So I started explaining again what I needed, but very rudely interrupted again, by this point I felt like reaching over and teach him some proper manners!! His colleague (white shortish guy) next to him, started telling me then when I asked for the white edging to be put on, that it can't be done now, or today, because their staff is on lunch now, and that I can fetch it tomorrow. If he was working for me, I'd tell him to take a permanent lunch and never come back. Customer's needs first!

Right, after I decided just to have the cutting done, very upset by this time, I was sent to the cashier. Met by this rude lady behind the counter, black lady short If I can remember with glasses, sitting in the middle. I greeted politely, no matter how upset I am by this stage. Not a Hello from her side either. Thought, do the staff get told just to take the money and not greet??? Everybody except for the first two people I met with, are rude. She just asked for the papers I was given, I gave it to her, paid (beacause it's what is important, just money, no customer service), she handed me the invoice and papers, and I turned around, and walked. I generally greet everybody, I didn't even bother to greet this rude person as I walked away.

Then, I was greeted by this very friendly security guy, sitting by the exit. He was very polite, I thought wow, are only three people in this establishment friendly? So I greeted him very friendly back, not going to take my frustrations out on him. (just to get this straight, he is a black small male, so I am not ****** or discriminating against race, my bad experience was with black and white in this store). He pointed me in the right direction as to where to get my timber. I was met once again by this arrogant dude that is supposed to get my stuff, and cut it (keep in mind, I paid for cutting of the structural wood, and my chipboard. I handed him the invoice, and off he went. Not a word. He eventually came back, with my board , and a long piece of wood. I asked why isn't it cut, he told me straight " you have to pay to have it cut", I said "but I did pay for cutting of both, just look on the invoice", then he said something and I turned around to walk to the bakkie, by this time I am furious!!! So I took another piece I was handed by the previous very rude staff, and asked him, is this what he needs. I explained to him my sizes and off he went. By the time he got back, I just wanted to get away from this hell hole. So I loaded my timber, and left.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE MONTANA BRANCH. I'LL RATHER SHOP AT REVIERA, OR GO TO BUILDERS WAREHOUSE, WHO'S SERVICE IS ALSO **** SOMETIMES, BUT PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY ATLEAST.

I am only customer, but how many others are you loosing because of this bad service? One is nothing, plenty can make a huge difference. Maybe it is time to consider sending your staff to SEESA (google it). Your staff needs proper customer relations training.
