Extraordinary Service to a Harried Mom

I went to Chamberlains Strubens Valley on my way home from the Roodepoort Theatre - not an area I visit often as we live out on the N4 East past Pretoria. The till lady scanned 2x 20 liters of paint, even though I only had one. Security at the door ticked off two even though there was only one. (The four small children I had with me might have overwhelmed him a little as it did me.) I noticed the mistake at home and phoned Chamberlains without any hope that they would believe and help me. Got to speak to the till supervisor Lesego and she was super helpful, even though I couldn't go back to the store with my card for a refund, she offered me a gift card that a friend who lives in Johannesburg could pick up for me. We are not used to this level of service anymore. The company did not try and wiggle out of repaying me, they didn't blame or even make me feel bad for not noticing the mistake in store. Well done Chamberlains, this is what sets you apart from other hardware stores - excellent customer service. I'll be back soon.
