***** Assistant Manager
My husband purchased materials previously at Chamberlains Strydom Park whilst in business and now during retirement from their Strubens Valley branch. He purchased a quantity of paint this morning from Strubens Valley which was loaded by their staff and when he arrived at home he found that both tins of paint had toppled over into the back of the bakkie and one had opened spilling its contents all over the back of the bakkie. He proceeded to hose down the back of the bakkie before the paint dried and before doing so took photos as evidence. He returned to the branch where he had purchased the paint and informed the assistant manager namely Christopher Dezius what had happened and the cause of it being that it was not sealed properly. This "so called manager" who should not be dealing with the public due to his lack of people skills refused to take responsibility for what was their negligence. My husband was prepared to overlook the damage caused by the spillage but instead was insulted by this manager's offering of a discount and not a replacement. No longer will he deal with them again and the word will be spread around.
