Couldnt care attitude.

I am busy renovating my kitchen and have purchased around R6 000.00 worth of materials from Chamberlains in Strubens Valley over the past 3 or 4 months. In the course of the renovations I have decided to change all the plugs and light switches in the entire house. Somehow I ended up purchasing one which was incorrect. Took it back in the original unopened packaging, even in the plastic bag and asked to swop for another one while purchasing approx. R2.5k worth of other electrical equipment.

Very rude and unhelpful person at the help desk. I eventually told her to keep the light switch and left. I even phoned and told the switchboard that they had just lost me as a customer. The receptionist was wonderful. Apologised profusely and told me she would get the manager to phone me.

Shortly thereafter someone did phone saying that he was phoning to give me a quote on electrical equipment. When I told him that I had in fact phoned to complain, he told me he didn't do complaints and couldn't help me.

I don't have a very high opinion of Builders but guess what? They have my business back again.
