WARNING do not book Shakas Cove Number 33 Balito

We booked through Booking.com at Shakas Cove Number 33, Balito. The video looked amazing, yet on arrival we found it to be an absolute dump. Be warned if you want a clean comfortable place stay away. What we found: Dirty pots, old oil Odd and dirty cutlery Furniture is old and tacky Toilet roll holder broken Bedside door handle broke off Dirty cubboards Previous tennants hair in your bed Curtains uneven and does not cover the windows. No cubboards for clothes. Broken ornaments. Broken shower wooden mat Broken bins And the list goes on. Even the owners supervisor was sent to inspect she said that it's a disgrace, she further said we are entitled to a refund. The owner said he lives in Joburg. The supervisor turned out to be his sister who described her brother as obnoxious. We now know Hilton is the owner, his sister Sharon blamed the cleaners. Short of it Booking.com won't help, the owner is missing in action together with his sister, and we paid 6800.00 rand for a dump we could not stay in. As I took pictures whilst Sharon was there, in fact she even showed me more things to take pictures of, so if you want to see them PM me I will gladly provide the same.
