CFC AUTO

Very unprofessional and unwilling to assist. I bough a car from CFC Auto. I did not even had the car for a month when the engine seized completely. I informed the mechanic and that I noticed steam coming out next to the bonnet, but the overheating light does not come on. When the mechanic got there I opened the bonnet and he informed me the fan is not working. He also check that the overheating light did not come on. This company was informed and now they state that the overheating is due to operator negligence and that the repairs is for my own account. There was a lot of defects discovered. The defects was discovered within the legislative (Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, also see Section 56(2) of the aforementioned act) prescribed period of 6 months, in fact it was even discovered the very first month. According to the mechanic he also pointed this out to them when they attended his workshop, but still they do not want to assist. When I send emails they are not answered. I would not recommend anyone buying a vehicle from CFC Auto. Their aftersales is very poor and unprofessional and when the facts are pointed out they do not even bother to come back or assist. I would not recommend this company.
