VW _ Weiss Toti Disgusting Service !!!

<p>While on holiday in Durban/ Amanzimtoti i experienced a grinding sound in my brakes out of nowhere. We had brought the car down to Durban with no issues, therefore a state of stress came over me due to now being stuck in Durban with no brakes and not being able to drive home to Johannesburg. </p> <p>My car is a 2015 model, Golf 7R with a full maintanence plan. </p> <p>As i thought (with any full motorplan) i could take it to a VW dealership and they could assist me in changing the brake pads, so i could further my stay in Durban. </p> <p> </p> <p>I took it to Weiss Volkwagen Amanzimtoti and they did the complete opposite to helping me. They claimed that they could not change my brake pads due to the 15000km i had on my clock (milage too low) and i need to pay them R2500 in order to get new pads, as well as stating i would not make it back to Johannesburg as they were almost metal on metal. </p> <p>I called Barons VW Durban and they told me to bring my car through and they will change the pads with pleasure. So Weiss gave my car back, with no assisstance to my problem. I drove it to Durban town, scared due to no brakes and Barons Vw claimed i still had 60% left of on brake pads front and 80% on the back and there was no need to change them. A piece of steel from the road had lodged inbetween the pad and disk and creating a grinding sound. </p> <p>In conclusion Weiss Volkwagen tried to make money off me, although i have full maintance plan which covers everything. They were extremely dispondant and rude with a no care attitude. Barons was willing to help me even if the brakes were finished.</p> <p> </p> <p>Due to Weiss i wasted a whole day running around on my holiday. They did enough to make me never buy a VW again, i was treated like trash there, but Barons Durban saved my opinion of the brand. </p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
