Unfair Service Delivery- Algoa Toyota Port Elizabeth

My mom bought in 2016 Toyota Etios in February and was helped by a gentleman named Ellios if my memory serves me well, the branch was based in Newton Park, cape road Algoa Toyota. It was a pre -owned car, 2014 model. Recently I booked it to repair release bearing and was advised that the whole clutch needs to be replaced and because my mom took and extended warranty that covers mechanical parts so I gave a go ahead. The lady that assisted me was Yolanda Visser, she advised me that because the previous owner didn't service the car for twice now the insurance will only cover the parts and I had to pay for the labour. I asked the lady to speak to a consultant from the insurance but she advised me that she only looked at a system internally and couldn't thus assist in me to get a thorough understanding on the matter. The problem is that this issue was not raised prior purchasing the car to my mom and I feel that its unfair. I have raised this situation to Toyota customer service on 27 November 2018 and I haven't received any response as yet from them.
