Terrible Diagnostic and Lack of Service
I have a Nissan Navara 2.5 DCi 2012 Model, which overheats constantly. I took the Vehicle to IC Auto Nissan at Clearwater, to inspect the Vehicle and to let us know, what is wrong with it.
After a week of the Vehicle standing by them, I got a phone call letting me know, that the Vehicle is fine and that they could not find anything wrong with it. I had paid the R 850 for the assessment and took the Vehicle home, but on our way home, roughly 10 km's away, the Vehicle overheated again. I contacted IC Auto Nissan at Clearwater again, to inform them about this.
They did dispatch a Technician to inspect the Vehicle again, were it was broken down and then advise that they need to take the Vehicle back to there workshop to conduct further test.
Exactly a week later, I got a phone call that they need to replace the Viscus Fan, with it's assembly kit, which will cost roughly R 9 000. I did ask them, are they 100% sure this is the cause and they informed me, yes, even there Machines testing results points to this.
I gave them, the Go-Ahead and awaited the repair of the Vehicle. Another week has passed, when I got another phone call stating that they Fan does not fit on the Viscus Fan and that they need to replace it with a new Fan which will cost another R 1500. Once again, I gave them go-ahead, awaiting for the repair of the Vehicle.
Last week Friday 31 of May, they contacted me, to let me know, that the Vehicle is ready and that I should come and collect it on Monday. I went to IC Auto Nissan at Clearwater that Monday, paid over R 10 000 for the repair of the Vehicle. On my way to work, roughly 10 Km's away, again... the Vehicle over heated....
They Vehicle is with IC Auto Nissan Clearwater again, still waiting on the Manager to contact me, to let me know, what there plans are now.
It's been over an Month now, not having the Vehicle and when getting the Vehicle back from them, to problem still exist. This is not acceptable service at all, it feels like money went down the drain and that they have misdiagnose the problem, and the problem is most likely not even the parts that they have requested to be replaced and already paid for.
