Stinking theft behavior at VW Strijdompark

I submitted my car for an interval service on the 28th of December 2018. Unfortunately I forgot my wallet with bank cards and R1 000.00 plus USD10.00 in it. Upon being dropped by the VW shuttle at my workplace I realized I had forgotten my wallet in the car inside a lid-lockable pocket on the driver's side. I called the Service Adviser immediately and promptly he responded saying he found the wallet and it was in his cutody. I was relieved and simultaneously I apologized for forgetting my valuable in the car when submitting for a service. To my surprise, when the Service Adviser handed over the wallet to me all the South African notes were taken, only the USD10 was left inside. I asked the Service Adviser and he offered little help, instead he jokingly mocked at me saying I was hallucinating. It pained me and he hurriedly too me to the vehicle and handed over the key to me and waved goodbye. I lost my R1 000 just like that. As management, I was expecting to get a even a little help to trace back my money but alas, they didn't care at all and they all looked guilty in my eyes. I understand it was my blunder to forget my valuable in the car but at least just out of good will and just to increase customer trust on their scale I was expecting a fruitful help from them. Unfortunately this did not happen. Probably they took the money just as a way of punishing me not to leave my valuables behind next time. As a long time customer, surely I did not expect this from VW Strijdompark. Last year in September I falked out about R60 000 to fix my car's engine at the same dealership but now in return out of a small mistake I get this. This was my worst experience ever at this dealership. Their statements and the way they hurriedly dismissed my complain said a lot to me. In fact, in my conclusion and to call a spade a spade, the Service Adviser looked 101% guilty to me.
