REPLACEMENT OF REAR WINDOW FOR FORD RANGER 2013 2.2 6 SPEED

The back window of my late husbands Ranger was damaged on the 22nd of September and I called PG and Glasfit to see if they could replace this for me. They called Ford and no stock was available. I then went to Ford in Constantia Park and placed the order and paid 100% for the ordering of the window. At that stage there was no stock available and Fanie at spares advised that this will take 10 to 15 working day Then a friend of mine got in touch with Francois from Glasfit, whom confirmed that the model of our ranger has two types of back window and the tint is different. He then said that he would order this from Shatterproof and I need to take the Ranger to Krugersdorp to make sure we have the right back window. He even gave me a price that was much cheaper than Ford. Action Ford quote was R5 410.44 which I paid in full I said that I need to follow up with Ford, which I then spoke to Fanie and told him about it and this was on Friday, 29 September. Fanie said that we would phone Shatterproof and let me know. I am still waiting for his call. On the Tuesday I called and left a message which was not returned. I then spoke to Peter (Fanie’s manager) and he said he would follow up. A day later I was called to say that the window has arrived. I went there on Friday to collect the window, to find out that the window was not from Ford themselves (Willie in spares checked this for me) but that they had ordered this from Shatterproof and I am not happy that I was not informed. Would they have given me a refund due to the fact that it was cheaper or just did not bother advising what they had done? I feel that I was ill-treated in this situation. I will go to Glasfit to get them to order and replace my window. Action Ford will need to do a full refund as I am not happy with their service at all. I also called Peter - Parts Manager and spoke to him about this. He was going to look into this and get back to me - still waiting for the call. Nobody of Action Ford has made contact with me since last Friday. I have even sent an email to Ford SA and also they have not called or responded. To me this is not service at all. I need a rear window for the Ranger and not any window as my late husband adored and loved his Ranger.
