Renault is just waiting to ***** you over!

Renault South Africa along with their IC Auto Renault Roodepoort (Clearwater) branch is waiting to ***** you over. After careful consideration, planning, and saving I decided to purchase the NEW RENAULT Sandero Stepway Plus (Thursday 12th September 2019). Advertised with a 5-year warranty, 1-year free insurance and a 2-year service plan this seemed to be a great family car. Unfortunately to my utter disbelief, this car has brought me nothing but stress. To begin with the vehicle, Before being even 1 month old., I experienced a loose handbrake, and faulty driver seat and Turbo and to top it off the warning light in the below picture prompting me to take the vehicle to the nearest dealership. My experience with the sales consultant at the Renault Clearwater branch has been less than satisfying, from the moment we walked onto the showroom floor up to have the issue to bring the car in. The warning light came on Saturday 19th October 2019, in the afternoon(before 13h00), I immediately called the Sales consultant and was told to bring the car in and when asked about a courtesy car was told no it was not included in our insurance (even though we had asked for this), it was stated that this was not the sales consultant problem and she had her child's birthday to attend. I was then advised to call Road Side assistance and still we would be left stranded without a car. Roadside assistance advised that I was not even registered in their system. I had made alternative arrangements to get my family home safely. On Monday 21st October I took the car in to the dealership where I was then issued with a courtesy car (Renault Sandero) after following up numerous times with the sales consultant. On Tuesday 3rd December my partner and my 1-year old daughter were in an accident with the courtesy vehicle, it is now Wednesday 4th December at 17h00 and I am still carless not able to even take my family to the hospital for checkups. To date, I have still not received the full diagnostics test on my car, just been verbally communicated to once that the part needs to be imported. I purchased a brand-new car and not a car that had been worked on like this to me is considered as a second-hand car which was not the initial agreement stated in the MFC contract. This car has proven to be a huge problem already along with the service or lack thereof from the dealership. To top it off the Executive Nissan/Renault refuses to accept my cancellation despite CPA legislation.
