REEDS N1 CITY mislead customer
On the 5/09/2015 my 2007 Opel Corsa bakkie was delivered with a G2 certified sticker on. The 7/09/2015 I reported noises coming from my brakes & took in for repairs. 2 weeks later I reported an oil leak between the head & block which REEDS sent for repairs to an unknown company. 3 weeks after repair was done, I spotted the leak Identical to the first time, the brakes made locking noises and I discovered each tyre had bumps on them. Extremely frustrated I reported it. Sent it to tyre shop & found that my RR tyre is old, cracked and unsafe for road use. 18/11/2015 I met with Manager Craig to discuss my dissatisfactory& requested a refund. I received the most disgusting service, WHICH I HAVE ON RECORDING. The DP Justin, also refused the refund. I then found out the bakkie was not G2 certified, but value owned. I requested the check done on bakkie. I got sent a report with NO DATE, STAMP or SIGNED OFF by anyone. I took the bakkie to the AA for a technical inspection. The AA check found more faults with the vehicle. I was advised this bakkie is not AA approved and I should request proof as to how it passed roadworthy. I request someone from Unitrans please contact me. Thanks David
The fact that they have not responded since last year shows the public the type of business that they run. I have had endless problems since day 1 and they just sugar coated everything. I have requested a refund without any success, they offered to repair my oil leaks, my head gasket, my gearbox, my exhaust system only for me to take it back and have the repaired problems looked at again. They refused to cancel my deal. Reeds Value cars department then changed managers from Craig to Shaun yet similar complaints pop up. Up until to today I am still experiencing problems and a year into a forced deal I am extremely unhappy. Never will I recommend or advise people to do business with them or parties involved. I feel I will get a better deal and service from the "guy" on the corner.
