Reeds Motor Group are a bunch of **********!

Bought a car from Reeds Claremont in September 2021. First of all, I received the car in an incomplete state: Missing the compressor and tire repair kit. 7 months down the line, the car gave it's first problem and Reeds weren't willing to cover it initially. Bearing in mind, they sold the car to me with an extended warranty. Through unnecessary fighting, loads of back and fourths, Reeds decided to cover the repair. It has been 1 month since the last repair and they have presented a repair bill of R16000 and the warranty is only willing to pay R5000 of it. So in essence, Reeds sold me a car with a ticking time-bomb for nearly R200 000.

I am not willing to accept that after 8 months of owning a car bought from Reeds, the car has been through 2 repairs already and I am meant to foot the bill each time. Reeds is treating me exactly like a Voortrekker dealer selling broken cars for premium prices.

I am unhappy with this company and I strongly urge that nobody purchase any vehicles from them, especially not used vehicles. Their service is pathetic and the salesmen sell you broken cars and bull**** warranties that aren't even valid. My mother bought a brand new vehicle from them and they provided the same poor service. My brother bought a used vehicle from them and they provided the same poor service.

As a side note, I have put 4000km on this car since purchased. Reeds in essence have just taken the money and run. Imagine buying a R200 000 car, putting 4000km on the clock and then the car breaks.

Absolutely pathetic!!!
