POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR TECHNICAL SERVICE!

Hi

I have received the worst customer experience from William Hunt - The Glen in Johannesburg.

My Opel Adam was sent in to them when my PDCs and blind spot detection stopped working. My vehicle was with them for a whole week and came back with only the blind spot detection working, after I had complained about the long time that the vehicle was with them. I received my car back to be told that when I am available they will collect my car and complete the job that will only take a few hours. My car came back with the PDCs still not fixed.

I was obviously highly irrate and complained to which my car was send back, this time it's been over a week and I heard excuses that it could not be fixed, then they had requested Opel SA to advise them on the way forward (btw I facebook messaged Opel SA to complain as well but they did not respond to my message, however when I was looking for a car and requested infomation, they were highly responsive to me, within an hour of sending my request!), however it still could not be fixed. Yesterday (24.07.2017) the service manager advised that the part they had received initially was incorrect and that the correct part was received and painting was needed to match the colour of the sensors to the car and then the actual techical work would take a few hours and i should receive my car back by this afternoon / tomorrow morning (25.07.2017 / 26.07.2017)

I received an email at 4.15pm saying that the sensors are still at the vendor who is delaying the process and they will let me know the progress tomorrow.

Upon calling the vendor i was advised that the sensors were only recieved by them after 3pm today!

I am disgusted at way they have treated me and not ensuring that my car is given the highest priority as since May 2017, i have not had my car with me for a full month yet I am paying for it!

What kind of service techicians do they employ to not know how to fix my car.

Each time i needed an update on my car it took me to make the call as nobody from William Hunt had the decency to keep me updated!

I feel that this company is taking advantage as i am a young female, and since they provided me with a courtesy vehicle that it is ok!

I am not paying monthly for a courtesy vehicle, I am paying for my car which is evidently defective as it was recalled twice by Opel themselves an now the sensors are the problem.

Opel should replace my vehicle if they cannot fix it as it is not fair to keep my car for such a long period of time and especially since the delay is due to their neglience!!!

Elica Gounden
