OPEN BONNET NOT PROPERLY CLOSED AFTER SERVICE

This serves to express my dissatisfaction in the service received for my vehicle at VW (West Cape) Kraaifontein branch.

Upon the return of my vehicle, it came as a shock to myself, husband, and my kids that upon my arrival at home my bonnet was NOT properly closed.

I drove a minimum of 39km from your branch (Kraaifontein) to home (Ottery) which is in the Southern suburbs with an open bonnet.

Further to the above, I am traumatised and shaking in fear as there were quite a few vehicles on the road trying to warn and give me signals that I am driving with an open bonnet. However, as a female, we all know stopping on the side of the road is not safe and therefore stopping was not an option.

I am extremely disappointed that thorough checks were not adhered too before the vehicle was issued back to me and this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that the staff is not vigilant, cautious, and attentive to what they are supposed to be doing.

This is quite alarming and extremely disappointing to the VW brand as careless mistakes like these are life threatening .
