Not replaceing servicing parts thats paid for
Hi my name is Chris Pretorius and I recently bought a Chevrolet Captiva for my family that I took to REEDS N1 CITY for its major service at 90000km to have comfort that the car is in good health,and then one month later my wife and children get into an accident because they bid not replace the power steering belt as they should have. I am just glad they were driving slow because I would not have been here righting this letter if it was worse I DO NOT want to imagine what could have been. Also was quoted R2300 for the service and wen I went to pay it was more than quoted and there reason was because they forgot to add tax so I ended up paying R4300

Mr. Pretorius was booked for a major value service at R2350 incl VAT. After investigation today we found that the service advisor charged Mr Pretorius Vat on top of the inclusive price. We do apologise for this inconvenience and have taken it up. The major value service is a service we offer customers whose vehicles are out of warranty. It includes the inspection of all v-belts (except cambelt) which was done. No belts are changed with a major value service. The balance of the invoice total was for additional work the customer approved (Airbag light plus vehicle cutting out diagnostics and fix). We have also reported on other concerns. We have communicated with the customer today.
