MISREPRESENTATION WILLIAMS HUNT THE GLEN
I found a 2015 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Titanium on Autotrader and was very keen on the vehicle, so I arranged to test drive the car and I submitted an application at Williams Hunt - The Glen. The sales person who I dealt with was Zukile. I received an email on the 7th of December confirming that my finance application was approved and all I needed to do was arrange insurance, before the vehicle could be delivered. I had signed up for an insurance and everything was in order. Later in the day I received a phone call from Zukile, and he told me that I actually haven't been approved, due to the bank saying that vehicle mileage was too high for a first time buyer. This after I received the approval email and I had already signed up for insurance. He then told me that I could take a vehicle with lower mileage but it was a lower trim level and I was obviously disappointed with this as the reason I wanted the car in the first place was because of its features i.e. leather seats, infotainment centre etc. I was also told that I would have to pay the same price for the car even though there is clearly less offered with this version. When I asked for a discount he laughed and told me that we might as well cancel the deal! So I am expected to pay the exact same price but have much less features that I first thought I would have! As a first time buyer my credit score is extremely important, so now because of this dealership's unprofessionalism and mistakes, I have to suffer a higher interest rate. This dealership is taking advantage of the fact that I am a first time buyer and they are trying to **** me by selling a vehicle of lesser value for the same price. In addition, how did they receive different information from the finance company than what I had received? I must now suffer the consequences as my credit score is affected. This is not acceptable.
