MAINTENANCE PLAN REJECTION DUE TO POOR WORKMANSHIP

DO NOT EVER EXTEND YOUR MAINTENANCE PLAN WITH VOLKSWAGEN!!!!

I Purchased my dream vehicle March 2024 - Golf 7 GTi that was still under maintenance plan, I decided to extend the maintenance plan to have that peace of mind.

June last year after they worked on my water cooling system, I drove to work one morning, my radiator was steaming, car smelt like coolant and car was using coolant. I immediately addressed this issue under their intention and a few days later my car went in. I got my car back, 2 or 3 days later my car did the EXACT same! I advised them about it and I was told that it is normal the radiators do steam?? What normal vehicle radiator steams? I wanted to take it to another VW but the VW advised West Cape worked on my cooling system the last time so they should have a look at it. Everytime I got feedback that it is normal.

On January the 13th 2025 my car over heated, after I told them Numerous times my car is using water , radiator steaming, coolant smell.

VWSA rejected my claim today - I just feel if VW West cape had educated people working for them i would not have been in this situation I am in now. The workshop foreman even told me that when they clean the engine bay and spray Silicone the radiator will steam, what type of weak excuse?

They also can not provide me with the multiple tests they did on my cooling system , but only one test, where the workshop foreman told me they did multiple tests.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE FOR ANY MECHANICAL WORK, AS THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE IN THE CUSTOMERS CONCERNS AND LIKE TO REVERT BACK WITH EVERYTHING IS IN SPEC
