Dishonest Toyota Klerskdorp

Bought an Automark vehicle from them, 2010 Toyota Fortuner, everthing went well till the day of delivery.

After taking delivery of the vehicle I took it to a workshop to inspect it myself. Pulled it onto a lift and was shocked with the condition of the vehicle chassis.

#1 Bolt missing on gearbox

#2 Oil leak on gearbox, whoever tried to cover up the leak by sticking a piece of sponge in the cavity where the oil was. (Photos available)

#3 Clucth shudder when taking off from stand still(new clutch kit fitted before delivery, vehicle went back for clutch inspection and still not resolved. Clutch was replaced at another workshop and not Toyota itself, apparently Toyota workshop was to busy and seeing that its a high milage vehicle Toyota dont work on it anymore they send it to a non toyota workshop as they do with all their high mileage vehicles.(according to the salesman)(Utter BS!!) SAME FOR THE SERVICE. Vehicle went for a service before delivery and again it was done by the "Down the Street Workshop" who stamped 4 stamps in the service book for 1 service done?

#3 4x"New" injectors fitted at the cost of R11 000 as per invoice. New injector cost R3800 per injector. Do the math. (Recon or 2nd hand?)

#4 SatNAV/Radio not functioning correct, was replaced with 2nd hand Kenwood radio which came out of the salesmans Navara bakkie.

#5 Pertol cap lock mechanism faulty and was told me to take it to local Toyota to get fixed. I was only informed about that by the driver who did the delivery that day.

#6 By the looks of it the vehicle wasnt even inspected by a Technician before or during sale eventhough it was marketed and guarenteed Toyota Automark vehicle.

#7 What was suppose to be a 2 week repair turned into 5 weeks with me having to make several phone calls weekly to follow up on progress.

#8 I requested a injecor test before taking delivery of the vehicle - NO TEST REPORT AVAILABLE and that was the start of the headace.

#8 Compression test was done while in for repairs NO TEST REPORT AVAILABLE
