Damaged my vehicle and lost R11M potential sales.

I have 2 complaints about Audi East Rand.

1 : They damaged my car and won't fix it.

A couple of months ago now, my father took my car in to replace the engine mounts for my vehicle, as I was at work and unable to do so myself. When they went around the vehicle to inspect for marks, no marks were picked up on the rear of the vehicle and yet when I went to collect my car, there is a patch where the clear coat had peeled off on the boot lid, as well as a long scratch on my rear bumper. Not sure how that happen as the work to be done was front side. When I brought it up with the lady who dealt with my car she asked me to bring it in to see, and when herself and her manager inspected the vehicle, they assured me that they will get the guy who fixes paint jobs to come fix the damage. After 6 weeks I had still not heard from them as to when to bring my car in. When I contacted again, they said the person who fixes the paint jobs was on leave, and they sent him a message and he didn't reply etc... and that they would try again. A few more weeks passed and the lady who I dealt with sent me images of a vehicle that was clearly sent to the wrong person. When I informed her and asked her how much longer I have to wait, she just told me that she no longer works there, but she will forward the messages to her former manager ... I doubt she did that because it's been a few weeks since and still nothing.

Thanks for damaging my car.

2 : The day I stopped there for them to inspect my vehicle, I took my wife with to see the Audi R8, as both her 2 sisters and herself have ordered a brand new BMW M8 competition each and are taking delivery early Jan 2023 and she even told them to call BMW East Rand to confirm that they are serious buyers, but now they are interested in purchasing a brand new R8 each as a second car, and my wife is leaning more on a new Aston Martin, however she was curious to see an R8 in person to see what the fuss is about. The R8 we saw was an orange 2018 model, but when that engine roared to life, her interest was peaked. So whilst I went to deal with my vehicle inspection, my wife went to sit down with the salesman that helped her, and they used the configurator to build her new R8 in a spec she liked so they can give a quote. She told him that she does not like the 2018 model and asked him if they could organize one of the new models from another branch for her to see and test drive, and he said yes... but they never bothered trying to organize a new model and ultimately just wasted our time.

Now I will admit that when we went through that day, we went in my car as it was to be inspected, and my car is just a 2008 Audi A4 2.0 tdi... nothing special, but my wife's family finances is none of my business, but these are 3 girls who are serious buyers and they acn afford whatever they want and they don't want used vehicles. So I'm unsure if the salesman saw us get in my car and just assumed we were wasting his time or whether the service there is just terrible (probably both) but either way their inability to treat each person as an invaluable customer, has just cost them approximately R11 Million in sales on just 3 cars.

Good job.
