Be warned, utterly pathetic service!!!

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent customer service experience I encountered with Action Ford Roodepoort.

My vehicle was booked in for an engine replacement as per Action Ford Roodepoort workshop assessment. After I instructed them to fix the vehicle and also paying 80% of the total invoice up front, I was told that the turn around time for the repairs to be done would take roughly 2 weeks. However, after 2 weeks of not hearing from the dealership I phoned to enquire on the status of my vehicle, only to be told that they are waiting for parts and that the vehicle needs a clutch replacement as well. I was then again told that this would take another week but I was assured by Action Ford Roodepoort that my vehicle will be ready by then. After waiting another full week without any communication from Action Ford Roodepoort I went to the dealership the check on the progress as I was under the impression that my vehicle would be ready. To my horror I was told at the dealership in person that not only have they not received the necessary parts but they will also be closing for the remaining month of December. Thus leaving me without my vehicle for the remainder of 2023.

I find the lack of communicating and basic customer service utterly disturbing, and as a Ford owner for many years would not recommend anyone to buy a Ford product or use any of the services Action Ford Roodepoort offers.

I will be writing to Ford SA to convey my dissatisfaction and disgust regarding how Action Ford Roodepoort treats their clientele. But I also accept no response from them as it appears that Ford SA does not care about losing clients.

Once my vehicle is repaired one day, I will sell it and buy from other vehicle manufacturer as Ford is unreliable and has no respect for their clientele.
