Bad service at Action Ford

I want to share my bad experience with Action Ford. Both the Modimole and Roodepoort Branches. My Ford Figo developed a few problems and needed a service. The nearest Ford workshop is Action Ford Modimole. I booked a service for 4th November and had my car there at 7:30 am. I booked it in with detail of what was wrong with the car. 1. An oil leak that was previously "fixed" at Modimole and again at Roodepoort but reoccured. Both times they replaced the tappet cover gasket. 2. A dripping water leak. 3. A slipping or sticking utilities belt.

At 11:00 They have not started work on the car. I left for home 80km away.

Four days later they said my car was ready. I drove there and found the car not ready but still in the workshop for last checkups. When I eventually got the car and switched the air conditioner on the belt was still slipping or sticking.

I took the car and left because they obviously did not look for the cause of the problem and replaced parts unnecessarily.

I took the car to an Auto air condition agency to be told in a very shot while that the problem is a faulty crank shaft pully which was replaced by a workshop within a couple of hours.
