Automall/ Valid value

Hello Peter Close to about two months ago, I decided on applying for finance on a second hand vehicle through valid value/automall. By far it has been the most unpleasant experience I have ever witnessed. I had originally dealt with one of their sales consultants over the phone to arrange the necessary documents required to register for finance. When I had subbited the required documents , I received a call from him stating that I qualify for a certain amount. From there about two days after that he gave me a call, and told me that he has the ideal vehicle for me , wich was a Nissan Micra 1.2. After receiving the pictures from him, I myself was interested in viewing the vehicle. After seen the car in person I was satisfied with it and went ahead with the process A couple days after that ,the sales consultant called me and told me that I could come in and collect my vehicle , and sign the papers for the vehicle. My partner and myself went in as soon as possible that morning,Just to find that he was "still waiting for the papers", after just receiving a call saying the car was ready? The day went on after almost 3 hours of sitting there and waiting , there was still no communication what so ever. The gent we were dealing with sat in his office for those 3 hours , not once came out to update us on a single thing.Luckily my partner knows one of the ladies that work there.Automatically my partners friend was onto it, phoning around to see where the vehicle is , and what the hold up was. Almost the whole day was gone just for the sales consultant to come out of his office and tellus that the vehicle wont be ready today, wich was a complete waste of time and money to drive up and down. About 2-3 days after that I queried about the vehicle,to see how far the vehicle was , he than called me close to the end of the day , to say he will fetch me from work, to collect the vehicle , and sort out the insurance documents before closing time. Late that afternoon close to 17:45 he rushed to collect me and and off we went to collect the vehicle.I still recall that it was close to closing time , so I went through to the lady that had the papers, and signed the necessary documents. After doing so we went through to the show room floor , He did a quick inspection with me ,He didn't even take a test drive with me , wich I know that they are suppose to do , with each car that is sold. Before leaving he apologised for the delay and wasted time , and told me that he was suppose to do a test drive with me , that Head office will give me a call, rating his service , and asked me to lie on his behalf, so that he could get a good rating. I was literally Shocked at this response from him, but had no more time to waste. After having the vehicle for the first 3 days , my partner and myself were sitting outside , she than mentioned that the drivers side door looked abit odd, and said that the vehicle looks like it was involved in a accident.I than decided to get a second opinion from my brother inlaw , wich has been in the car industry for almost his whole life. He had looked at the vehicle to also tell me that the car has been in a accident , and pointed out the rest of the faults, and told me to take the vehicle back, as I have every right to complain and ask for the vehicle to get fixed as its still under warranty. That same day on the way home, the drivers side window started giving problems, opening and closing, due to the issue with the door. I than called Automall and complained about the issue. I took te car back that following day just for the sales consultant to tell me and my partner that he "was not suppose to sell this car to us due to the condition that it was in". I could no longer deal with him, and decided to go directly to his manager. His manager than told me to make a list of overything that I was unhappy with , and they will make sure that everything gets seen to, and gave me a courtesy vehicle to use for the time been. I than waited 2 weeks for the vehicle to get back, just for the manager to tell me that he couldn't get a brand new door , and that he got another door from another Nissan micra , and fixed everything else on my list that I wasn't satisfied with . He also mentioned that he had re done rthe wheel bearing on the vehicle , as it was making a knocking noise ,. Now after having our vehicle back for close to 2 weeks , we came to realise that the vehicle was making a scratching sound. We than came to see if anyone can identify the problem , Just to find that it was the wheel bearing when he had stated that it was replaced. With my knowledge if the car had been in for a service , that we wont be sitting with the problems to begin with. This is now the second time around , that the car needs to get taken back in for repairs over a matter of not even 2 months! My question is why must I be so lenient after waiting and wasting so much time , and money driving up and down and for been messed around over and over again by automall? To make matters worse is that we have our kids in this vehicle , that they are putting our kids lives at risk aswell as ours. I have never been so disgusted with the poor service we received. This car is a complete nightmare and I don't see why they cant just provide us with a better and more reliable vehicle that is valued at the same amount instead of complaining about the extra paper work! Why should it matter especially after iv already qualified for finance? I refuse to keep my mouth shut for any longer, as I said I will not risk our kids lives or our own due to people that cannot deliver a good service to there consumers
