Audit East Rand Can't find problem with car
Here's a copy of what I posted on FaceBook
Let's do a social media experiment and see if we can help Audi East Rand figure out what's wrong with my car. PLEASE participate and share this experiment as far and wide as possible. Listen to the video clip ... share to anyone and everyone you possibly can so we can help Audi East Rand please. Please feel free to comment as much as you like, all suggestions and similar experiences are welcome. As per normal when you take your car to Audi East Rand it doesn't make the noise when it's there, but this time I caught it on video and What'sApped Audi East Rand the video. My car has been there since Tuesday, finally got it back this morning (Friday) ... with only enough petrol left in the tank to do 20km - so goodness knows how they've been test driving and checking that it's fixed. But who knows, maybe the car ran on vapours for them. So; the mechanics I know listened to the video and said it could be the oil pressure pump/valve or the exhaust pressure pump/valve, or another pump/valve but it's definitely got to do with pressure, but Audi East Rand say no ways. Yet when you google the oil and exhaust pump problems it states word for word verbatim exactly the problems I told Audi East Rand I've had with the car. So obviously the other mechanics and even poor google know nothing, alas maybe someone out there can hopefully suggest something and assist Audi East Rand who still can't find the problem. So all they did since Tuesday and bear in mind today is Friday was adjust the inlet valve and take note; ADJUST not even REPLACE. Or is this just a case (which was actually suggested at the dealership) of the poor mechanic knowing exactly what's wrong and the dealer principle saying; NO we follow the technical manual step by step and WILL NOT be replacing the part until we have no alternative as the car is under warranty and maintenance plan the dealership is not paying for anything until they have no alternative. So let's be penny wise and pound foolish and have the customer bring the car in over and over again, have the customer be inconvenienced at least 3 times or more and take at least a month or more to fix the actual problem, exactly like last time when they eventually has to replace the catalytic convertor. If there is anyone out there who can please assist Audi East Rand in diagnosing the problem or could recommend an Audi dealership why actually cares about the Audi brand, it's customer and who can actually fix the car please please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if it means I need to drive to Pretoria. Yes folks this is not the first time, more like the 4th time in 24 months I have the same experience with Audi East Rand, bring the car in over and over again costing me time off work, organising lifts for the school run, etc. Believe it or not: earlier this year Audi East Rand had to replace the water hose, said it would take 10 to 15 days for the part to arrive, when they had to organise a rental car for me, guess what .. you guessed it they could suddenly find the part within 24hrs. Interesting isn't it? So in my humble opinion Audi East Rand is actually doing the Audi brand more damage then good by not fixing the problem. I will not recommend the Audi brand to anyone and especially not Audi East Rand, in fact maybe go with a manufacture who can actually problem solve and identify what's wrong with their vehicles, and where the dealer principle will actually order the parts they need to replace even if the vehicle is still under warranty and maintenance plan. After all with Audi the customer isn't important. Heads up Audi East Rand my car still has 50 000km and close to 18 months to go on it's extended warranty and maintenance plan, which your branch extended by they way, no problem .. so at some stage you are going to have to fork out to replace what is not working properly .. but hey Audi East Rand don't stress in the meantime I won't recommend you or the Audi brand to anyone, but who cares I'm only one client.
