After-sales service torture

I took deliver of a pre-owned car on 22.7.2023 and I am still sent from pillar to post regarding the car's registration...the transaction went smooth from the qoute to delivery, there was constant feedback...now the sale is completed I have to run after the sales person concerning the registration...I am driving the car in Gauteng with an MP registration, inviting all sorts of car thrives wherever I drive...does it really take a month or more to register a car?
