I pay the money on 10/06/2025 because “we don’t commence any work until the total cost of repair is paid.” So now I am financing their cost to order spares etc upfront. I don’t argue, because my daughter uses the vehicle to make a living. Proof of payment is also sent. FNB to FNB. WHAT CAN GO WRONG ? Plenty my friends, plenty. Today I receive an email requesting payment. The corporate world needs to confirm my payment from branch level and the branch has not received my proof of payment due to an issue with their email server or something to that effect, so they haven’t even ordered the spares yet. No problem Meneer WhatsApp the proof of payment. I don’t do business on WhatsApp. So after expecting to get the vehicle back on 13/06/2025, it might happen on 20/06/2025, that’s if the person working on the vehicle doesn’t contract COVID or something similar.
