A total ******* and time waste, misdiagnosis!

Good day,

On the 8th of January my Opel was towed to Williams Hunt, I thought that they could do a service and check the clutch as the car was able to start but with no way to change gears. From that day the team there took their time from quote to diagnosis. After much back and forth, they diagnosed the car with a clutch problem and other related problems. The first complaint for me was that this on its own took 2 weeks!!!! Anyway, their quote and what the insurance could pay were very different. We ended up settling that Williams Hunt should give me my car back (3 weeks later). They told me there was a strip & quote to pay, and to reassemble the car back, the insurance paid them R5000, to this day we still do not have an invoice for that! Williams Hunt was paid on the 19th January, and then after that they gave me a run around about getting my car. I only got my car on 31 January 2018 after much complaining. I took the car to a private mechanic. The mechanic could not find some parts from my car and asked me about it - guess what, the parts were in a box in the boot of the car!!!! SO why did we pay R5000 to Williams Hunt in Midrand? Anyway after that, he found that my clutch was still fine and the only problem was the cylinder issue! I am utterly disgusted by the fact the I spent so many weeks with no car because Williams Hunt Midrand had many excuses for each week about the car and worse for me is that the insurance paid them for something they never did. Strip & quote was R2373.15, and to reassemble same amount. They were paid R5000, where is the invoice for that and why did they lie !
