A shoddy service (Lack there of), and a sales staff force full of sharks.

Right, so where do I start… I guess at the beginning would be a good place…

Sami Abdull, Your Presales service was a little distasteful, but we bit the bullet because really liked the Kia Rio, and wanted the car. But Sami, your post sale service was worse, utterly disgusting. We had to BEG you for responses.

We drove this car out of your showroom at the end of March (Still with things not right after explicitly explaining it to Sami Abdull and him agreeing to have it all repaired). It is now the middle of September, and there is still one thing that has not been corrected. I have even got the sales manager, Patrick Comley-White involved, who is just as bad as responding to communications, if not worse. When he does respond, we get rude comments and we are treated like 4-year olds. When I call the dealership principle, Gerhard Coetzer, I get “I’ll investigate, and get back to you”. Do you think he does? No… I am seriously disappointed with the after-sales service Ford has given us as a whole.

We have spent a lot of our own money, time, and petrol, travelling up and down to Ford every time, only to be more disappointed than the time before. We will think twice before we buy a car at Ford again. Yes, it may not be a Ford, but the car wasn’t bought at KIA, it was bought at FORD, Ford received the money and fast, in full, and in cash, too. Yet we have to wait and wait and wait and the 6 months for any issues is almost over so it makes one think, is this just a ploy for that little bit of security (consumer protection) we have to fall away?

The panels were not like misaligned when we bought the car. That was a mess-up from whoever did the first very bad paint repair YOU sent the car to. We have not knocked, bumped or scratched that part of the car. We have a DQ Tracker installed in our car. There will be recordings if there was any damage done to the car after we received it back the last time, up to the day we told you about it, which was less than a week apart. Your so-called “Best Panel beaters” Brilliant Shine Cc, are just as disgusting, they “Repaired” the misaligned bumper, for it only to pop out again a week later. SO they didn’t do the job properly, and you’re trying to cover it by saying we hit the car?

We are not unreasonable people, we KNOW we bought a second-hand car but those panels were aligned WHEN we bought the car. It was only after FORD had it for the paint job that it was out, and either they didn’t do what they said they did or just glued together or I don’t know what. I am not a mechanic or car salesperson. But it has come off without any force from our side, but now we get treated like it’s our fault and get ignored for 2 weeks at a time without any form of communication. I’m sure it doesn’t take 2 months to get a date for when the panel beater (Brilliant Shine CC) can accommodate YOU (not us as we are not paying for Ford's mistakes).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FORD BRANCH GUYS! Their sales staff are sharks, they are unreasonable, have terrible manners, and will find the cheapest rout to fix anything that may be wrong with a pre-owned vehicle. THIS time it’s come back to bite them in the a$$... I just hope this will assist people in not making the same mistake we did, that is trust this FORD branch. Don’t purchase a car from these people!
