Shoddy Service from Centurion Real Estate

I rented a flat which I vacated 7 weeks ago. The estate agent completed the final inspection after the flat was empty. It was indicated that the two bedrooms that were carpeted with shoddy carpets would cost R200 each to clean. 7 weeks passed and no deposit was returned. When enquiring about the outstanding deposit I was informed that a further R350 would be deducted from the deposit as there was a chip in the wall. This was not noted when the final inspection was done. When I queried this I was accused of being dishonest as I apparently knew about the chip. If the damage had been there during the final inspection it should have been noted. I take exception to be falsely accused. I am totally unhappy with the situation as I think the amount deducted from the deposit is exorbitant and I take exception to be accused of dishonesty when I didn't hide anything.
