BILLING & ACCOUNTS - BAD SERVICE ALL OVER
Centurion Acadamy advertise themselves as an Afrikaans Academy,on the 9th of November 2016, by appointment with Nolene and Henco we enrolled my daughter with the understanding that I won’t be able to make monthly payments but will pay within the time frame, as I am a Commission earner. I was assured by the consultants this is not a problem and it would be noted. Clause 6 of the contract states that full payment needs to be received by 31 October, where after students will not be allowed to attend programs or write the final exams. On 2nd August I made a further payment of R20000 as agreed, on 5th August we received a sms that my child is not allowed at the Academy. Classes are in bilingual languages and not as they said in Afri, study material are in Eng, my daughter had a once of choice whether to write exams in Eng or Afri. They assured us that once the students’ needs to find work they have people that they use, but when the time came we had to find the work ourselves in order to complete the logbook. They now insist on full payment of the studies while my daughter has not been attending classes due to their sms request. Twice I requested an appoint with the Principal and twice I was ignored. They have been bullying us by expecting payment and not refunding me. They have not comp**** to the initial agreement, nor did they comply with the consumers act, the services as promised did not occur, and they also charge interest at 2.3% on the whole amount, also not complying with the NCA, they also did not do any approvals according to the NCA nor credit checks. The Academy did apologise for the incorrect information given, but due to their non-compliance I want them to pay me back as we did not receive services or agreements as was agreed to.
