Inhumane and emotionally draining

What Capitec insurance has put me and my family through these past few days is something I don't wish on my worst enemy.

I lodged a funeral claim on the 4th of December coz my cousin was shot on the 29th of November and until to date I have not been paid. They are busy validating my claim, we had the same surname, they called both my aunts and one of them is the mother of the deceased but that was not enough. I'm so sad coz my whole family is covered with capitec. I have never felt this defeated and I hope people have more options when it comes to this insurance coz if I didn't have more family and other funds my cousin would still be in the morgue. The sad part is that they don't even communicate you have to be the one calling them all the time. I plan to cancel everything including my bank account with this ****a shop
