Gap Cover a misleading ****

For all reading this: Be warned that Gap Cover is not what the industry claims it to be. My wife went into Hospital a few weeks ago. Our medical aid paid their part. The outstanding balance were about R4500. We got Gap Cover and I sent a claim to our provider (Kaelo Gap/Centriq Insurance) . They rejected my claim and paid me R0. Reason: "Shortfalls on ward fees, theatre fees and other hospital expenses are an exclusion". That was their exact reason. I mean, that is what hospital fees are!!! People are in for a surprise when the time comes to claim from Gap Cover. It is a ****. Thank you Centriq Insurance for your so called GAP COVER.
