Centriq is a sham- they will ensure that a funeral claim is not paid.

I am highly appalled at the service received from Centriq. My wife took funeral cover with Capitec and the cover effected 2nd of May 2023. Unfortunately, she met her untimely death on the 07th of October 2023.Base on the findings the death was unnatural. We had several funeral covers, all other funeral covers paid out except the one administered by Centriq. A complaint has been lodged and to date the claim is rejected. It this point I think they will find any reason not to payout, yet paying a premium is important. What is the use of have insurance if you cannot use it during the time of need. I had to borrow and I am still indebted to some organizations for cost of the burial since the cover with Capitec was the highest. At this point I am in agreement most insurance companies are there for their own enrichment. Everyone reading this, stay clear from this company unless if you want to lose your money in the pretense of a funeral cover.
