Capitec funeral with centriq they don’t care, they only care when they ask us to join.

Am very disappointed with capitec funeral cover underwriting by centriq. I joined capitec funeral cover in 2021 payin R1071 then In 27 February 2023 I added my aunt on my plan the first debit including the new member was taken in march R1317.30 then monthly they were taking R1255 15th of each month.

Then on the 24th August 2023 I visited the branch to check if I will be able to cover her funeral as she passed on the consultant checked and say yes as they already taken the 6 six month installment, I then submitted all the the document she told me I will receive the sms I then wait 24 hours nothing happened but I login to app the claim status says Closed, I went back to the branch the consultant says there’s no feedback on system she then called the assessors the response says I was going to be paid if it is after the 1st of September I then ask how and why because the premium taken is 6 installment no one cares, they say they can waive 6 days if I have the waiver letter,

I can’t burry her the capitec Consultant don’t Have better explanation I ask for rejection feedback in writing so that I can also request better explanation to higher level because if you debited 6 month’s premium but you cannot assist when we have funeral is very painful and if I knew I could have taken all my funeral cover to other company, when I call the (0860) 777-554 No one is explaining anything I’m being taken back n forth this is very disturbing.
