Capitec funeral cover

I took out a funeral cover in April 2020 that i am paying R919. 04 a month i have previously missed 2 payments a while back and last month i missed another payment so this morning i receive a sms notifying me that my cover has lapsed and that i need to take out a new funeral cover i did not miss 3 consecutive payments so why is my policy lapsed i paid a lot of money to this policy to just lose it like that i paid a lot of my so i want my money back i can not have paid such a lot of money only to be told that my policy has lapsed
