CAPITEC BANK

My husband took a personal loan from Capitec in June/July 2018. He was paying his account every month and it was going well. Unfortunately in December 2022, he had a work related accident and was unable to work and we reported it to Capitec., For 2 years my husband was receiving only 75% of his salary, until it was eventually decided to medically board him. We sent the paperwork To Capitec and have never heard from them ( not the first time of reporting or the second time). My question is, # why do you pay insurance on your loan # why if the insurance is there to pay your debt if you are unable to, the bank still black lists you (they got there money from the insurance) #. They sell your Debt to a 3 party

We have never heard from Capitec or the 3 rd party, but my husband is blacklisted .???.

Well they made contact , with me and said they will sort it out by the 15th August 2022. Then I got an email stating that they are trying to call me but not getting through. I sent an email back, giving another number.
Today is the 15th August 2022 and still haven't received any feedback yet.

Well it is now the 22/08/2022.
Still no response from Capitec, Third party or the insurance company.
They have received 2 contact numbers from me but say they cannot reach us on these numbers.

Strange, these numbers are in use every day 24/7.
Maybe they are not interested in sorting this out.
Just show's you, you cannot even trust a bank or a insurance company anymore.
